When Christine Iskander observed a brilliant light in the sky over Brandon, County Durham, she was utterly taken aback. She grabbed her phone and shot many photographs of the entire scene.
The light, according to Christine, was blinding, especially if you stared at it for too long. It appeared to be a dazzling star.
She believed it was a helicopter or an airplane at first, but there was no sound from it. The thing jutted up and vanished after the photo was taken.
The item resembles Han Solo’s spacecraft from the well-known Star Wars trilogy, directed by George Lucas, based on its look in the photos.
The spacecraft initially featured in 1977’s Star Wars film and returned in the majority of subsequent installments.
