The clip seems to have been broadcast to Live Leak with the goal of just making a record of the “Super Moon.” However, the witnesses noticed two objects dumping a shadow on the Moon’s surface while doing so.
What did the eyewitnesses have to say?
One of the witnesses stated that he had no idea what the object going over the Moon and reflecting its shadow may be. Furthermore, he indicated that he only planned to shoot the Supermoon after seeing the oddity.
Are there any logical reasons for this?
On the Moon’s surface, having a large zoom causes anything close to the camera lens to fog up.
However, neither a satellite above the Earth’s atmosphere nor a lunar probe in orbit around the Moon are ruled out.
