As far as legends go, there are few out there that rival the legend of the Annunaki. Simply put, this is one of those legends that have so much proof and evidence just lying around that it becomes quite impossible to not believe in it after doing some research on the matter. But alas, we’re getting ahead of ourselves. Let’s start with a simple introduction.
The Annunaki are deities that were primarily associated with the ancient Sumerian culture of Mesopotamia, although they are often named in other cultures such as the Akkadian, Babylonian, and even the Syrian cultures altogether. They all speak of a time before time when this grand race of superior alien creatures leads over humanity, guiding them or in some interpretations controlling them as slaves for labor.
Regardless of which version you pick up, we were always doing work for them, and in exchange, they taught us many things and gave us many different technologically advanced machines that won’t be invented for another 5000 years at the very least.
After they considered their mission to be done, the Annunaki left the planet and went on into space to find a new place to heed to. Unless you believe the other theory that states that they still live among us, but that they are hiding behind the shadows, still controlling our every moves to this very day.
