Paranormal scholar Zecharia Sitchin suggested one of the most intriguing hypotheses about humanity’s origins, which centered on the Anunnaki (Sumerian: “those who came down from the skies”). The Anunnaki are the ancient Hebrew Anakeim and Elohim, as well as the Egyptian Neter.
The Anunnaki, according to Sitchin, arrived from Nibiru, our solar system’s intriguing but unverified tenth planet. They invaded our planet 430,000 years ago, landing in the Persian Gulf region with the goal of mining monoatomic gold, which was scarce on Nibiru but abundant on Earth.
For 200,000 years, their mining activities ran well until their workers revolted and the Anunnaki were left without a workforce. The documents Sitchin claims to have translated describe the Anunnaki’s efforts to find new miners, which eventually led to the development of Homo sapiens.
The Anunnaki head scientists Enki and Ninhursag injected their own genetic material into H. Erectus, fathering modern humans, after fruitless attempts to fuse animal and Homo erectus DNA. Their triumph was tainted by the fact that their new human slaves were sterile clones, and as the need for labor grew, they genetically modified men to reproduce.
This ability resulted in overcrowding, and many humans were expelled from their towns, giving birth to the expulsion from paradise story that is still remembered by many cultures.
Thousands of years later, the human race had stabilized and attracted the attention of the Anunnaki once more. They were chosen as sexual partners because they wanted to take advantage of the new genetic stock. The Nephilim, or “ancient giants,” were the descendants of these prohibited couplings.
Except for a few chosen individuals who were safeguarded by Enki and still retained compassion for his creation, the population was wiped off as a result of the protocol violation. Many civilizations have recorded these occurrences as part of their cultural legacy.
The Anunnaki chose to depart Earth after hundreds of thousands of years of enslaving their creation to suit their hidden goals. From Mesopotamia to India to South America, their impact was felt all across the world.
The Anunnaki evacuation, according to Sitchin, occurred roughly 6,000 years ago. They decided to give mankind one more push before they went, which may be summarized as the Sumerian civilisation, which was astonishingly sophisticated for its period. They did indeed appear suddenly as a mature and well-organized civilisation.
The Sumerians were taught their way of life by the Anunnaki, who also founded royalty. The king would serve as their messenger on Earth, ruling the people as their representative. They were taught astronomy, mathematics, technology, and medicine, and their lineage was genetically upgraded with Anunnaki DNA.
Despite the fact that this idea has been regarded with skepticism, Sitchin backs up his assertion with a number of papers and finds.
Enuma Elish, a Babylonian creation epic, tells the account of the formation of our solar system. According to it, when a wandering planet named Nibiru was trapped by our sun’s gravitational pull, the Earth had not yet formed. Many of the planets’ moons were perturbed, and Uranus’ orbit was tipped. After then, it crashed with Tiamat, a planet that used to revolve between Mars and Jupiter.
This collision gave birth to Earth, and Tiamat’s moon became ours. What remained of Nibiru settled into a 3,600-year elliptical retrograde orbit around the sun, spinning in the opposite direction as the other planets. Surprisingly, computer simulations point to such an event as our planet’s birth. It would definitely explain a lot of the contradictions in our present idea regarding the Moon, which appears to be older than the Earth.
Sitchin also argues that the existence of strange objects like the Baghdad Batteries or the Saqqara Bird may be linked to a long-ago yet highly intelligent culture. He also recounts Sir Flinders Petrie’s hidden finding of an Anunnaki gold processing factory on Mount Horeb in 1889.
At the ancient Mesopotamian city of Niniveh, archaeologists discovered 400 complete clay tablets in Assurbanipal’s library. These tablets include continuous historical records of the Anunnaki’s actions.
The Anunnaki genetic laboratory was located in East-Central Africa, which is strangely enough, in the same area as our current hunts for mitochondrial Eve’ and during the same time period. Even more intriguing is the discovery of 100,000-year-old gold mines in the vicinity.
Sitchin is certain that human evolution has been accelerated. Our dramatic and abnormal distinctions, he and others argue, should be sufficient proof for this idea.
They also claim that the Anunnaki will continue to rule Earth.
