Ricardo Sahade once said that “We know the surface of Mars better than the bottom of the oceans” and this couldn’t be any truer as it is more factual now than ever before. We have constant trips to Mars now, with three incoming trips planned out by three different nations, and yet we have zero official government-sponsored trips to the bottom of our seas.
It is akin to us making a mess in our backyard then looking over to the neighbor’s yard to move in just in case ours gets too dirty.
The fact is though that the number of unsolved mysteries that came forth from the ruined cities that were discovered underwater still maintain their level of mystery to this day. We don’t know how they could have possibly been built thousands of years ago let alone how they were all submerged underwater so long ago.
We’ve found them all over Egypt, India, Cuba, Japan, and Bolivia, and that’s just stating some of them, to begin with.
Chances are, in every major country on the planet there is at least one submerged city underwater.
We’ve had our love for ancient lost cities since forever now, dating all the way back to Plato’s first mention of Atlantis.
We’ve even uncovered a sunken Alexandria off the Egyptian coast which is believed to have been originally used by the last queen of Egypt, Cleopatra, as she stayed here because of its large monoliths of red granite.
