It appears to be an ancient Martian skeleton, in my perspective. I gently colorized the image to highlight the nuances visible in the movie.
The relic has a big skull with an intricate or beautiful headpiece, which could indicate that it is the remains of a king, religious icon, or fallen warrior.
In my perspective, these are the skeletal remains of an alien humanoid. I cross-referenced the artifacts’ remains and compared them to human bones, and the similarities are unmistakable.
This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Mars formerly supported life.
