Eastern India in 1971. Erich von Daniken met with a respected lecturer at the Sanskrit College in Calcutta to study Vedic Sanskrit, an ancient language utilized in holy Hindu scriptures.

According to ancient texts, the so-called Gods used flying vehicles to go from heaven to Earth.
The Gods fell from the sky in flying vehicles, according to India’s ancient Vedic writings.
They call these vehicles vimanas. There are extensive descriptions. What these vimanas looked like, how they moved from place to place, and what was required to pilot them.
All of this is detailed in ancient Hindu literature dating back thousands of years. And Erich, of course, thought these vimanas were true nuts and bolts aircraft. And, of course, he’s claiming that these are the ancient astronauts’ vehicles.
When Erich first visited India, he visited a variety of locations. And he rapidly realized that India is a gold mine for the ancient astronaut theory. Because we can locate these amazing temple towers known as stupas and vimanas all over India.
As a result, we must question ourselves, “Where did the stupa form come from?”
Erich also made an important contribution by focusing on India. Despite being hundreds of years old, very few people had studied the ancient Indian civilization. And what he observed were structures that were said to be replicas of vimanas.
So many Hindu temples in the Far East are architectural representations of what was going on in the sky. As a result, the upper portion of a Hindu temple is sometimes shown as a flying object, known as a Vimana.
Then we’re presented with the realization that these folks created in stone objects that they appear to have seen in the sky. When we look at the most ancient records we have from India’s Vedic writings, we get vivid depictions of aerial warfare, Vimanas…
As a result, this begs the question of our own historical cycle. Is it fully linear, or are we just now rediscovering ancient technologies that existed thousands of years ago? Flying cars, humans who could fly through the air, and flying horses are mentioned in ancient scriptures all around the world.
But it was Erich who realized the Gods weren’t merely soaring around like Superman. They needed to get into some sort of nuts and bolts craft, just as we do, and go somewhere.
And these were the Gods’ chariots. Enoch tells us about the Sky Guardians who came down.
He claims they were so-called fallen Angels who desired to mingle with mankind. Giants were the progeny of it. As a result, there were interactions between extraterrestrials and humanity.
What exactly does this mean? It’s really quite straightforward. According to Erich von Daniken’s perspective, we are nothing more than hybrids of an extraterrestrial race who sparked our civilization thousands of years ago.
