For the most part, experts believe that the very first instance of an ancient nuclear bomb going off is on August 7th, 1945 when the first official nuclear attack reigned fire over the Hiroshima site as the U.S. bomber Enola Gay dropped it off on the unsuspecting people.
Although this is, for the most part, true, as it is the first instance of a modern human using nuclear weapons, experts believe that throughout history nuclear technology has been available to the masses.
Ancient texts prove this as for example in the Mahabharata Indian text it clearly showcases the fact that an ancient war happened between Atlantis and the Rama empires which both used nuclear weapons to fight one another.
If that’s not enough how about the ancient tale of the Ramayana as yet another such nuclear attack is presented in it.
We also have discovered ancient bunkers that were most likely built to withstand nuclear attacks around 12,000 years ago.
The ancient city of Mohenjo Daro for example was built in 2,600 BC only for it to be abandoned 900 years later because of an incoming nuclear missile.
Don’t believe us? The place in itself was scorched up to 1,500 degrees Celsius (2,700 Fahrenheit) to the point where the sand in itself appears to have turned into glass from the heat itself.
There are even ancient carvings of nuclear bombs and mushroom clouds that you can see here.
