Chimera Woman Finds Out She Is Actually Her Own Twin – How Is This Even Possible?!

After looking at her own uncommon birthmark, a woman discovered that she is her own twin.

A woman’s body is divided into two halves, each of which is colored differently.

Taylor Muhl of California has an extremely unique birthmark that runs down the center of her body. Her back and one side of her body are somewhat redder than the other, and she has characteristics that indicate something peculiar is going on.

Anything on Muhl’s left side of her body is bigger than everything on her right, she wrote on her blog. She went on to say that she has a double tooth on her left side of the mouth and is extremely sensitive to a variety of stimuli. Muhl has a variety of allergies, including food, bug stings, some drugs, jewelry, and even supplements, according to her.

Muhl has two sets of DNA, one for herself and one for her twin.

Muhl went to see her family doctor, who revealed that she has two sets of DNA, which is an extremely uncommon medical issue. She continued by stating that she had two bloodstreams as well as two immune systems. Muhl has a condition known as tetragametic chimerism.

This is what happens when two different eggs are fertilized by two different sperms. While they are still in the early stages of development, one of the growing embryos consumes the other. Muhl is essentially her identical twin.

Chimerism is reported to be a relatively rare disorder, with just 100 documented examples in humans. Apart from variations in skin pigmentation, people with uncommon illnesses can live a normal life without any difficulties. Many people aren’t aware they have the disease until blood testing reveals it.
