Astronomers recently discovered what appear to be four bizarre flying objects in deep space, which they are yet unable to explain.
They don’t fit into any recognized category of objects, and, more crucially, they resemble distant ringed islands, therefore they’ve been dubbed “rare radio circles” or ORCs by specialists.
They claim that they are unable to determine how far the objects are from Earth in a practical sense, despite the fact that they believe the objects are from another galaxy.
They are all outside of our present galaxy as we know it, and despite the fact that they recently produced research that explains how this might have happened and what they would include, many scientists think that none of those answers match properly, to say the least.
Some people thought they were supernovas all along, while others thought they were nebulas, but the general agreement is that no one knows for sure.
Kristine Spekkers, an astronomer at the Royal Military College of Canada and Queen’s University, stated that this might be a never-before-seen phenomenon taking place right before our eyes.
They seem to be invisible when scanned with infrared and x-ray radiation, yet they are visible when scanned with radio frequencies.
The crew was able to detect them better and investigate them more closely thanks to ASKAP, a radio telescope from the Murchison Radio Astronomy Observatory in Australia’s Midwest, but they still haven’t been able to thoroughly scan them, to say the least.
